Amanda Brugel

Pointe Claire resides in a uninhabited area of Montreal Island, which is known as West Island. This part of Montreal is known as the West Island has a lot of diverse communities. Many who've never known about it may mistake it for a separate, west-facing island. Amanda Brugel was born there, but her time there was short. Brugel was an aspiring young lady in Courtice Ontario, just outside Oshawa. The first goal she had was to become an actress, however, after a rapid growth spurt her partners weren't able to dance with her. She admitted in an article written by The Toronto Star that she is 6'1" tall and wears heels. Once I was bigger than any male partner and stopped dancing, I quit. The Brugel is one of the former dancers who shifted into acting. Her high school teacher school was the one who pushed her in the right direction. The teacher suggested she try getting a part in the the school's annual show. She was chosen to play the principal character in Anne of Green Gables after she tried out. This led to her being awarded a Fine Arts Talent Scholarship from York University. In 2000 she earned her Master of Fine Arts at York University. Over the last 20 years, Brugel's work has been seen on both the large and small screen. Her work gained most fame when she was offered the role as Rita in the award-winning television show The Handmaid's Tale. Brugel, the only Canadian on the Season 1 cast of the show and only seen occasionally was the sole Canadian.

Christina Ochoa comes from Spain. She is an actor and marine biologist, as well as an author and producer. Her grandfather was Nobel Prize winner Severo Choa. Ochoa was raised in an environment which encouraged her artistic and scientific abilities.
